Marina is inspired by nature, especially how light creates reflections and shadows. Her recent work is produced by printing her own photographs onto fabric via an inkjet process. By flipping the images, secondary shapes are revealed. This simple process produces extremely complex shapes that offer many places for viewers' eyes to linger. Her aim is to enable everyone to experience the beauty in everyday things and places.

As a practicing artist for more than 30 years, Marina's work has been featured on the “Simply Quilts" TV show; published in "Innovative Fabric Imagery" by C&T Publishing as well as other books and magazines; and exhibited in Japan, New Zealand, France and major U.S. shows.
