Lura, with a degree in art from San Francisco State University, has been working in the textile arts for over thirty years. Her work is often based on dream and meditation imagery, and she enjoys exploring new ways to express and merge figurative and abstract imagery. The inherent warmth and richness of fiber inspires her as a medium.
