I am a working artist, I createSpirit Figures and art dolls; dolls for grown-ups. Of all possible mediums contemporary doll making brings together my love for drama, story telling and ritual. I work with many materials, creating constant challenge in every figure I create. Dolls bring us back to our ancient tribal roots and are found in every indigenous culture. My figures are goddesses, angels, shamans, fairies …strong, soft, magical and mystical. I like to think they carry something more important than just form…..spirit.
