Art is a passion that I openly embrace. It has been an emotional outlet for me for as long as I can remember. When I look around I see shapes, colors, textures, and lines that move from one object to the next. I find beauty in all things natural and man-made. My art is representational and most of my pieces have an emotional connection to me.

As an art major, with training in oils, acrylics, water colors, and clay, I was surprised to find my art merging towards that of a quilter; using fabric and thread as my media. "The call of the fabric" used as my tool, stretches my imagination to create my art. My fabric is picked based on my vision and mood of the picture, it becomes my "paint" while the thread becomes my "brush". I create pieces that have the feeling of a painting. All of my pieces are matted and framed.
