April Sproule creates fine art quilts, teaches workshops in surface design, and offers long-arm quilting services to her clients. She is best known for her contemporary whole cloth quilts as well as her innovative silk quilts. She loves developing complex textures, saturated color, and the reflective qualities of the fibers that she works with. She feels very fortunate to be able to work and teach in her ideal studio which is flooded with natural light and sheltered by an enormous Oregon Maple. She has won numerous awards for her work in national and international shows and her art quilts have been purchased by many private collectors.
