Anita is a design zealot and fabric is her ruling passion. Add vivid color, texture, an eye trained by a youth spent in the museums of NYC, and an adulthood of world travel, and you have the recipe for her art. She works in a studio full of light overlooking the Pacific Ocean and creates art quilts that praise nature in both stylized and abstract designs. She works spontaneously, sometimes starting simply from a fabric that sparks her interest. Manipulating hand dyed and commercial fabrics she tells her story using her history, her hands and her heart.

Anita has exhibited at venues in California, nationally and internationally. She is the subject of several magazine articles, has won many awards and her work is represented in private and public collections.
